The Realm

I'm glad most websites I go to haven't done dumb things for April 1st. Like the time Amazon set their look back 10 years. I couldn't navigate it and I was pissed they lost my business that day. I didn't buy anything until the day was over. Perhaps they learned their lesson because this year there is nothing of the sort there. Good. But I went to look up something on Google Maps and found this.

Ok these kinds of harmless jokes I do like and they amuse me. You can see what I wrote in the description there.

If we get the new place I really want to save up to finally get my raven. You guys know I have been wanting a raven for YEARS now. Every time I try saving for one something goes wrong though. I think I will now make it a goal to get this bird if we move to the new place. I'll have the room for one. I plan to build an outdoor aviary for him. I'm already looking into what kind of toys to get too that will keep him busy as smart birds get bored and need things to do. Last year I bought the DVD on how to care and feed them. I just ordered the more expensive DVD for how to train them. Both DVD's are over priced but only this breeder has them and if I'm seriously spending this much already well it means I am ready for a big pet again and a big responsibility like when I used to have Joel my blue and gold macaw. These birds are DNA sexed so I want a male and I already know I will name him Fear. I hope I can help mold his personality into someone as bold and fun and loving as Joel was. I'm already expecting stupid pranks from him too like taking pencils and some of my things and hiding them.

Speaking of Ravens I have solved the dilemma of Fear's feet. Chris and I were talking about this yesterday. What does Fear's feet look like when he takes off his shoes? Well they are bird feet. But they aren't shaped like bird feet because they've been stuffed into those small shoes. He's still a cell so they spread out and fill with cytoplasm. He does have hard little nails on them but they are nowhere near as long as the nails/claws on his hands. They are the smallest hard parts about him. So now that mission where he takes off his shoes is something I can visualize. And as for his wings I think he has them the majority of the time but he can dismiss them if he needs to. So in a way they are like a summon and almost always on.

I hate it when I say I have tons of ideas and can't wait to get started on them. And now I'm ready to start on something new and I don't know where to start. It's like all my awesome ideas left me. I'll figure it out. I always do.
