The Realm

I finally managed to get screen caps of all our characters in Forza Horizon 5. So I guess I'll complain about why I don't like this character creator and why it was better in 4. So you get a limited set of characters that you can't change too much about them. Just clothes and hair. You can't move their facial features and resize them. You can't change their skin color, body wight or age. So you're stuck with a bunch of ugly boring 20 somethings with really bad body shapes. It was the same in 4 except the characters looked nicer. The girls had make up. That should be optional too. The same girl in 4 that I used for Bullet was pretty and worthy of my empress. But now in five she has no make up and looks bland and boring. Stupid game designers ruined that. The vast majority want a pretty girl or a good looking man to look at in these games. And there are those rare occassions where someone will want an ugly fat guy as is my case that I have a whole universe of characters and Gord and George are ugly fat guys. So they are not accurate. Also I have never liked boys, I like men. Solan is my only "boy" being "25". Of course he's the sun god Solan so he's really 4 billion and only a boy in disguise. My characters are in the ideal ages of 30s - 50s. So you can pick a limited number of hair styles and set colors. Oh and going back to facial features. No beards or mustaches for the guys. This completely ruins Ophidius who is likely my worst character and nothing without his mustache.

Here is Bullet as a human. This is the only screen cap I took at one of the houses. Even though it's the best time of the day to take pics she's still in shadow and you can't see her. This was the most aristocratic hair I could find, but the texture is crap not having lovely combed straight lines. Again they are bent on destroying all beauty in this game. I don't show it here but Bullet's car is the Lotus Eise painted like Bullet the Budgie. You can see it in the video of my previous post. BTW, the clothes in the game are something else that sucks. They are stupidly expensive. Sometimes costing more than the cars. And you are very limited as you see. Why only black and white inner shirts? You can't paint clothes. You can paint cars, you'd think it would be easy to give a pallet like the one for cars and let us color stuff. Also there are not suits and ties for my fellows. There is a jacket but no ties or nice business clothes. There are no cowboy boots. The game just lacks and sucks this way. Oh and when you start the game you character is wearing crappy street clothes. Shorts and a T shirt with logos. If you're going to an award you need to dress up or at least corporate casual to show respect. And since you come out of a race then realistically you should start the game with a nice fancy jumpsuit and not look like a bum. I blast through the first three missions just to make enough money to buy everyone pants at least.



Here is Scary Fear as Schyler. He turned out ok. The jeep he has is my fave vehicle for being fast and being able to climb. I'm still working on coloring it up to look like Badyear's jeep from the cartoon Stunt Dawgs. I'd like everyone to have one main vehicle but since Fear is my main account I'm not sure what that would be yet. This is MY personal fave vehicle for doing most races in. And I finally realized to take the pics inside at the festival where the lighting is best and never changes regardless of time of day. So these next pics are easier to see. His suit is not bad except there are no nice dark blue pants or turquoise shirts. His face isn't good but most of these characters if you don't look close you can kind of make them look ok. None are good though.

Chris got Forza Horizon 5 on opening day for our xbox. Just like before we've been having fun. I've been trying to make all my characters so that our world is populated only with our guys. My main account is Scary Fear but we have some of the others too like Owen, Davon, Solan etc. But looks like we need to make more accounts still. Even though it's single player the game adds random people if you don't have enough friends. There are 12 spots in the races and I'm getting sick of having strangers in 2nd and 3rd place on the podium. The old characters from Foza 4 didn't transfer over either so it's stupid to see some as the default girl character. I need to remake everyone which means playing all the intro missions over and over. I hate that you can't skip the cinemas. They are beautiful but when your only goal is to make a character and not drive around and get achievements then it's super annoying you are forced to play for two hours just to get started. But yes I do need to create new accounts to fill all 12 slots. I think between Chris and I we have 8. I can think of two characters I haven't created yet. Even if we got 10 it would be annoying that we would probably have those two strangers place. You'd think the odds would be in our favor.

Unfortunately playing hurt my hands again and set me back. Thanks for the prayers btw. I was getting better. I was writing a lot which is what started this flare up and it's almost as bad as when I first got fibro. I could not game or hold anything. I shouldn't even be typing but it's time to update. Chris as always is an amazing husband and has been helping me open things like ketchup packets, squeeze bottles and last night made George for me as I talked him through how to play that account for me. Tonight we will make Ophidius. We have no desire to play online with other people. We're against these multiplayer games really. If you want to play with someone else it should be a 2 - 4 player in the same house on the same machine and tv. Invite your friends over for a video game party like it used to be. Eh that's a rant for another type and I'm too hurt to type it all out right now why all these things that I have been warning you guys against for over a decade are now proving me true. See I told you so. So anyway, I probably shouldn't play for a week which I'm not happy about. This game takes place in Mexico and I'm loving that. It's so beautiful and way better than boring ugly England where it took place in Forza 4.

Nov 10th I took Whitey and Minion to the vet. I was afraid something was wrong with them. I'm so worried about cancer now that it's in the line. I also told the vet about Whitey's crop gas she still gets from time to time. Luckily everything was ok. Minion just had bacteria again so we were given antibiotics for their water. I'm so thankful it wasn't worse.

I have more to say but gonna stop here. So other than my health issues things are going well. I'm rather happy. Looking forward to getting today started.
