Happy St Patricks Day
Mar. 17th, 2021 08:27 amHappy St. Patrick's Day everyone. I know I disappeared for a time everywhere. Even on the phones. That's because Chris and I were sick. I got sick first with tummy issues. Then Chris got sick with fevers. Luckily by the time I got over mine I was well enough to take care of him. He's been down for five days and today is the first time he's well. But Wednesdays are usually a day off so he's going to take it easy. Still we hope to get out a little bit today. I bet he's raring to get out of the house.
I got some cute St. Patrick's Day ducks a while back for Ducking Jeeps. I'm hoping we can take some today and do that. Provided there are jeeps in the parking lots we go to.
I ordered a bunch of bird toys off Amazon. They arrived and I have distributed them. The main reason is Emma has been destroying the pretty cage I got her. It looks terrible and she HAS toys. I don't know why she likes doing that. They make a product that is supposed to make birds stop chewing on bars. It's very funny with a parrot making a yucky face. I hope it will work. But for now I got her lots of paper and wicker toys to tear up. I hope they last.
We also had a scare with Chris's computer, but luckily it's ok and nothing happened now. We had to use his TV for youtube which we hate doing because it has no features a computer has. But what's neat is he has a Roku Tv which is featuring free movie themed screen savers. We downloaded Jungle, Space, Underwater, Kids, Romance and Old West. The first three are our faves as the screen scrolls with foreground, mid ground and background and has lots of movie references that are fun to guess. Like in the jungle one we recognized the obvious Jurassic Park, King Kong but also things like cliffhanger and predator. The ocean one had jaws, castaway and a very subtle Spongebob pineapple. There's a lot more but you don't notice everything first time around so it's fun to stare at and doesn't get boring. I just looked on youtube and of course no one has a decent video of them. I'll have to see if I record them and share them. Ah I did find some screen shots hope they work. Of course they are just a small section.
