Possible New Roof

thagirionThings are going very well. I've been very busy. We had a guy leave us a card on our door the other day for roof repair. We do so need a new roof. It said very little cost so Chris called him up. He came over the other day and looked at the damage we had. He said the insurance should handle most of it and we'd have to pay very little but it all hinges on if the Insurance wants to work with us. So he and Chris called them and they will come have a look. Let's pray it all goes well because we REALLY need a new roof. The guy left us a neat book with different color singles. I'm between the green and the blue. I can't make up my mind. I've started doing a photoshop of our house to get an idea. It's very exciting but I hope the insurance will work with us and not be jerks.
Calzephyr, thanks so much for the awesome birthday card. I loved the little tabs and stamps too. Always useful. And 3 out of 4 budgies approve of your art.
I loved it. It's Minion ready to party. Emma really loved it too. I think she thought it was her. Nitro was the only one that didn't like it. Always a critic in very bunch ha ha. But Emma, Whitey and Minion all looked. But yeah the drawing is my fave thing.
And I have finally managed to capture a decent video of Whitey talking. Female budgies don't usually talk and if they do they have very small vocabularies with bad pronunciation. That's whitey. She says around 9 words and not very well. Still it was a total surprise to me the other day when I heard her say "Whitey".

I'm between the Chateau Green and Harbor Blue. Leaning towards the green and do plan to paint the house because it's ugly brown tan. Booooring. I kinda want to do each wall in a different color. I'm open to suggestions. Choice three is Shasta white. Chris said it's totally up to me. He doesn't know. Well I don't totally know either. I like the green though.

Good luck with the roof! We paid extra to have the 30 or 35 year shingles if I recall right. We went with grey in case we wanted to change the colour of the trim later.
