Day 1 Spain
Ok so here are some pics of my flight and the first day in Spain. I'm still sorting and uploading pics.

This was my plane to Madrid. An A330-300.

Take off. That is I95 and you can see all the people evacuating. Traffic to the horizon. Hardly anyone going south bound. I felt like I was on the scene from Independence Day when Jeff Goldblum got on the Airforce 1 before the aliens blew up the white house.

I love this pic. There are two boats in this. The one in the lower right is a Carvinal cruise ship. It looked so tiny from up here.

I thought this cloud tower was really cool.

This was neat when they turned off the lights at night there were pink and purple lights.

This pic doesn't do justice to the sunrise I saw. It was so cool to see the round sun break through the clouds of the horizon. I also wasn't able to capture but the moon went past the window. We were circling to land and it was so cool to see it that close and it was nearly full. None of my cameras could get it though because of the many layered glass. I tried with the gopro, my nice canon and my cellphone and it just made it look like a tiny blurry dot.

I don't know what city this is but it looked cool.

These two giant bird statues formed a heart. They were neat. Sad they had graffiti on them. I don't know if they are flamingos, ibis or what. I'll just call them flamingos since they have parts of many different birds. They could be anything.

Looking up at the huge flamingo.

Karyl took me to this very nice Chinese Restaurant. I had a chicken and mushroom soup. I've never seen this in a Chinese restaurant and it was very good.

This was some kind of shrimp and bamboo thing. I don't know but it was very good. I don't like American Chinese. I know it's not authentic. What was funny was trying "American" food in Spain. It was NOT American. If I go back I'll go back as a food critic because some stuff was so messed up they were passing it off as "American".

Lastly Karyl took me to a Peugeot Dealership. It was neat to see what they consider SUV's there. These are little French cars. I had never heard of them.

As I told you I love Spanish Chinese food !!! But If you speak to chines people they can tell you that the food they take in China has nothing to do with this one that we eat in Spain. It´s adapted to us.
By the way, I am going to collet my car tomorrow !!! There was a problem with a piece of the cabrio ! Peugeot is a label very known here, in Europe.

I saw a video where a Chinese girl tasted American Chinese food and talked about what was real and what was not. So the same happens here. I like Spanish Chinese better than American Chinese.
Oh wonderful. You can finally get your car back.
